SINCE 1975

About the Arlington Soccer Club

Arlington Soccer Club was founded in 1975 by coach John Werner. It is the oldest soccer club in Vermont, with a long history of community engagement and Friendship Through Soccer. At founding,  the club set forth three principals:

  1.  To provide a productive and worthwhile activity for our youth.
  2. To teach youngsters the rules and skills of the game of soccer.
  3. To provide healthy competition while de-emphasizing ‘winning at all costs’

These guidelines are the foundation from which we still operate today.
